Teaching singing to young voices
with JENEVORA WILLIAMS PhD

Dr Jenevora Williams is well known for her writing on and work with young voices. She was the first singing teacher in Great Britain to be awarded a PhD in voice science and has done extensive research into all aspects of working with young voices. She has worked at the Royal College of Music, London, The Menuhin School, Guildford School of Acting and with members of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.
The day will be divided into a lecture session in the morning and a master class with students of various ages. Teachers attending the course may apply to bring a student to work with Jenevora at no extra cost.
Tea and coffee will be available but lunch is not provided so please bring your own food.

10am – Sign-in and coffee
10.30am to 11.30am – Session 1
11.45am to 1pm – Session 2
1pm to 2pm – Lunch
2pm to 3pm – Session 3
3.15pm to 4.30pm – Masterclass: 5 x 15mins
4.30pm – Questions
5pm – Finish
