‘Giving boys a voice’ – training the male voice from child to young adult

We are delighted to invite you to our much anticipated, first in-person conference since the start of the pandemic. Over the next two national conferences we are diving into gender-specific vocal training. As our own current membership reflects, we work in an industry that has a very high proportion of females at both teacher and student level. Being Head of Singing at an all-boys boarding school, I want to take the opportunity during my chairmanship to explore first, in this Autumn conference, how we train the male voice, and in the future, how we work with transgender singers.
