“Colours of Pop” – gain confidence in singing and teaching authentic pop improv and harmony
With BexX

Sunday 11 February 2024

Leeds Conservatoire, 3 Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7PD

Gain confidence in singing and teaching authentic pop improv and harmony to both groups and individuals. An inspiring, engaging day with a specific focus on ‘tools for pop vocals’ an improvisation workshop and interactive practical masterclass for all types and levels of singers and singing teachers.

Meet BexX, your go-to for all things music and personal growth. Hailing from Bristol, this experimental pop artist, vocal coach, and personal growth expert is all about pushing boundaries and creating magical musical moments. With two decades of experience, BexX’s resume includes shows on iconic stages like O2 Academy and Glastonbury Festival, collaborations with BBC Drama and institutions like Bristol Institute of Performing Arts and Bristol Academy of Performing Arts and University of Bristol.

BexX is on a mission to help singers find their unique voices and creative expressions. They are the founder of the online academy ‘Be Vocal Academy’ and The ‘Be Vocal App’.

For 20 years, BexX has been the voice coach for those who thought their voices were lost or forgotten. They’re all about combining proven vocal techniques with a dash of personal growth and empowerment. They believe singing isn’t just for the naturals; it’s for everyone! BexX has been trained in Estil and is an Authorised Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) Singing Teacher, which means they’re all about helping you choose the sound you want, control it better and make sure your voice is healthy and sustainable, regardless of the genre you sing.

BexX’s interactive concerts – named ‘Be Experimental’ – directly involve the audience. As an attendee, you’re not just a spectator but you become the star and take to the stage for a live and spontaneous show. A magical way to discover your own unique voice through vocal improvisation – it’s an experience you won’t forget.

Therefore BexX brings a wide array of tools and knowledge to share with singers and singing teachers, promising a workshop that is both enjoyable and educational.
