Welcome to the Association of Teachers of Singing website and I hope you find here all you need, be it information on our conferences, on our annual Teacher Training course, on becoming a member, or any other useful information.

Our Association aims to be a large fellowship of equals. We all of us tend to work in comparative isolation and I know that for very many, including myself, membership of AOTOS has not only been a source of friends and contacts, but above all a means to inform and refesh our teaching skills through its thrice yearly conferences and magazine “Singing”.

We can none of us as teachers stand still, and should always be questioning our methods and questing after new ideas. I feel privileged to be acting as Chairman at present, and hope that – with the help of many willing and able colleagues – I can continue and expand the work of the Association.
