Advanced Professional Development Course 2016
Advanced Professional Development Course 2016
We are delighted to present our newly designed, intensive and stimulating residential Advanced Professional Development Course for voice teachers, with individual mentoring and focused tuition. The course is aimed at singing teachers with at least four years’ teaching experience. The deadline has now passed for booking this course.
There will be studio mentored teaching work as well as group sessions, all held in the delightful Beswick building at Chester University. The format of the course gives you a unique opportunity to work one to one with experienced teachers who will facilitate, encourage and develop your teaching skills and abilities:
- Liza Hobbs: Royal College of Music Junior department, London; Aberystwyth Summer School
- Margaret Izatt: Royal Conservatoire of Scotland; Head of Singing – National Youth Choir of Scotland
- Russell Smythe: Royal College of Music, London
As well as studio mentoring, the course will include a tag night with team teaching by the mentors, and a question and answer forum.
This course will not be on offer again until 2018, as in 2017 we’ll be focusing on courses for less experienced voice teachers. So do come and join us – this is a splendid opportunity to develop your skills in a secure environment.
I look forward to welcoming you to the course!
