Teacher Training

The Course Director, Penelope Price Jones writes:—
The 2010 Course continues to offer practising singing teachers the unique opportunity to work on a one to one basis with an experienced colleague. We provide the participants with pupils to develop during the week with their mentor, and this gives them the security to share their problems and develop their skills as teachers. I am increasingly approached by people asking how they can start to ‘be’ singing teachers and this year, we have four places out of the fourteen reserved for new teachers. They will follow an adapted version of the main course, which we hope will enable them to see if this challenging and ever-developing profession is one for them.
