Council member Tim HardingTim is a freelance musical director, vocal coach and arranger based in the Black Country. Over recent years he was worked with many West Midlands societies including Wolverhampton Musical Comedy Company, Knowle Operatic Society, Tudor Musical Comedy Company and Trinity Players, whose production of Hairspray in 2015 won the National Operatic & Dramatic Association’s regional award for Best Musical.  He has been musical director for Harlequin Pantomime Productions for the past seven years, and is also currently MD for West Bromwich Operatic Society and WBOS Youth Theatre.

Trained at Durham University and the Welsh College of Music and Drama, he has taught singing for the Guildford School of Acting, Birmingham Theatre School, and Wolverhampton University. He also has a private teaching practice, and in recent years his vocal students have gone on to attend London Studio Centre, Arts Educational School, Mountview Academy and the Royal Northern College of Music, as well as taking leading leading roles with societies across the West Midlands and beyond.
